Super Learning Day - Judaism

Last week,  the whole school took part in our first Super Learning Day of the year. This Super Learning Day focused on Judaism, particularly the symbols of Judaism and the festival of Hannukah.  

The pupils all had a wonderful time taking part in a series of activities, including making menorahs (candlesticks), making dreidels  and using clay to make dreidel coins, tasting laktes and taking part in PE activities. 

The pupils had the opportunity to listen to a talk given by two visitors who both commented on how wonderful the pupils were, showing the Samuel Laycock RESPECT Values, being polite, being respectful and practicing equality.
