Super Learning Day - Christianity

Tuesday 24th March was Super Learning Day, during which the children spent the day exploring Christianity.

They took part in a range of engaging activities in school, including creating Christian symbols on their iPads and completing themed craft projects. They listened to Christian stories and learned about festivals and celebrations to deepen their understanding of the true meaning of Easter.

Some pupils had the opportunity to visit St John the Evangelist Church in Ashton, while those who remained in school met Stuart Gosling, the minister from New Life Church, Tameside. He captured their interest brilliantly, delivering a fun and engaging session about the origins of Christianity and the significance of Easter.

All pupils were outstanding throughout the day. They demonstrated our RESPECT values, showing kindness towards one another and to staff, and working hard to ensure that everyone enjoyed a meaningful and memorable experience.
