A Day in the Life of a Professional Footballer
On Thursday 1st February pupils from the Sports & Outdoor Pathway were thrilled to be given the opportunity to take part in an Educational Tour “A Day in a Life of a Professional Footballer” as well as a stadium tour of the Etihad.

With most pupils being City fans, there was real excitement before we arrived. They were given an amazing tour by Martin and Steph, experiencing the Home & Away Changing rooms, going pitch side - Joe even sat in Pep’s seat) and even having an interview with the main man himself, Pep Guardiola!!
Pupils were given lots of information throughout the day to learn about how one of the world’s best football clubs is ran. They learned the various job roles that lead to running such a successful football empire. Our pupils truly had an amazing day which you can see from the pictures and have made some memories for life. Here is a comment from the staff at City about our pupils.
